CLA SAFFLOWER OIL REVIEWS

Top Supplement for Weight Loss

Among the many, various ingredients, nutrients, chemicals used to improve fat loss results by supplements, one of the most popular ones is CLA safflower oil and that is the topic of today's article. CLA is naturally found in dairy products and grass-fed beef and it has a really good safety record.

It's popular for helping with fat loss but also because it has antioxidant properties and it can help improve your immune function, reduce inflammation and inhibit the growth of cancer cells, reducing the risk of cancer and other similar tumors.

The most important thing is that it is clinically tested and there is some proof of these claims. It has over 10 clinical studies on humans alone, having been tested on lab rats as well.

CLA's real name is conjugated linoleic acid, representing a group of polyunsaturated fatty acids not naturally produced by the human body.

The best results that CLA had for fat loss were in hamsters where it managed to decrease body fat by as much as 40-60% and that is, of course, a huge decrease in body fat.

Unfortunately, both in humans and in rats CLA appears to be much less potent not to mention less reliable. In fact, studies on humans show it to be quite unreliable. It has reduced body fat in obese men/women in some studies and then it did nothing in others.

What's more, for humans a high dose must be used, much higher than the dose used in small animals like rats and hamsters. The standard dose of CLA for humans would be around 3 grams, for better results you may use 6 grams. For more information on dosage, you should definitely consult with your medic.

An important fact that must be mentioned here is that there are multiple forms of CLA, the difference between them being the chemical structure or molecular formula. Also, they differ in potency or efficacy. According to studies, the most effective seem to be the t19 and c12 CLA isomer.

Some supplements may not mention the type of CLA used or even the dosage. Avoid buying unless you know for sure, otherwise. The formula may be too weak.
